Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This reference is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Neither its content nor a result from a linked third-party tool may be used for decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
How Current Is the Information?
Rolls are corrected, portals change, fees move, collections are relocated, and digitization can alter the years available online. The reference is maintained with care, but no detail is guaranteed accurate or current at every moment. Confirm a record with the office that holds it before relying on it.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing in this reference is legal advice. It identifies record sources and describes how San Mateo County rolls and directories generally work; a licensed attorney is the proper source for legal advice about a dispute or filing.
Lawful Use Only
Public rolls exist for transparency, not harm. Do not use material reached through this reference to stalk, harass, intimidate, or hurt anyone. Misuse can violate California and federal law and also breaches the Terms of Use.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some search boxes are supplied by outside companies. Their returned data, charges, and handling of submitted information are outside the operators’ control, and their results are not FCRA-compliant consumer reports.
Outbound Links
Links lead to assessor and Recorder portals, Elections lookups, court searches, library local-history collections, archives, and related services. The operators do not control or guarantee an external service’s content, accuracy, uptime, or policies.
No Records Hosted Here
The reference stores no government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital record. It points to the custodians, libraries, and portals that hold those materials. To obtain, verify, or correct a record, contact the responsible custodian directly.
